Solufleece is ideal for open and/or delicate work, but it is durable enough to withstand heavy needling. It is a good stabiliser for all types of fabrics and washes away in cold water (or for faster removal, warm water) without leaving any residue.
Try laying threads and fabrics snips on a sheet of Solufleece, cover with another sheet of Solufleece and pin together or lightly spray your layers with aerosol glue. Free machine and then dissolve Solufleece. You will be left with a wonderful new 'fabric'.
Cut 1 piece of Solufleece, 1 piece of top fabric and 2 pieces of Bondaweb to the same size. Remove the backing paper from the Bondaweb carefully.
Layer, with the Solufleece at the bottom, the pieces of Bondaweb in the middle and your fabric on the top. Stitch parallel lines into the layers using your machine foot as the width guide.
Using a steam iron, steam your work by hovering the iron over your work and be amazed how your work shrinks and puckers...
