White Hot Block

White Hot! blocks are cut from Plastazote which is a high quality thermoplastic foam that can be heated and have textures pressed into it and will not give off fumes when heated.

To impress textures into your block - just heat with a heat gun or an iron and baking parchment. You need to work fast, so have everything ready before you start to heat. To create your textures you can use printing blocks, dried beans, kitchen tools the choice is endless. Press your texture firmly into the block and hold until cool, you should have a perfect impression. You have 2 sides and 4 edges to play with – have fun! When you get bored with your textures, just re–heat your block and impress new textures.

Use with waterbased printing media and clean with water or baby wipes. Don’t let acrylic paint dry onto your block as it will clog up your design.
